The experience

From the last session to the first conversation.

A welcome reception has a different job from a closing dinner. At a reception, close-up encounters can give delegates an easy way into conversation while they circulate. At dinner, a featured show gives the audience one experience to share once service and remarks are finished.

Tell Sean which delegates will be in the room, when they arrive and what happens immediately before and after the performance. If sessions finish in different rooms, factor in the time people need to reach the reception or dinner. For a featured show, identify who introduces Sean and who runs the sound and lighting.

Built around your gathering.

01

Delegate welcome receptions

Small-group magic during arrivals, networking and drinks. Share the check-in flow, reception layout and any spaces reserved for sponsor meetings or quiet conversation.

02

Conference dinner feature

A magic and mentalism show for the gathered room. Give the venue and production team a clear slot for the performance, separate from service, speaker remarks and announcements.

03

Reception and evening show

Combine close-up entertainment with a shared feature later in the program. Include both room assignments, time blocks and any gap between them so Sean can quote the full booking.

See it before you believe it

UNREAL.
In motion.

Two minutes. No rabbits. No velvet curtains. Just a glimpse of the moment a room stops trusting its own eyes.

Planning & booking

Make the handoff part of the program.

Send the conference date, venue, room name, delegate count and draft run of show. Include speaker or sponsor commitments, the time the space becomes available and the contact who can make timing decisions. If the performance follows a keynote or panel, agree with the production team on the microphone, introduction and stage transition before the event.

The practical reality

A few booking questions.

Can we book close-up magic during delegate networking?

Yes. Send the estimated attendance, reception length, layout and arrival pattern so Sean can recommend a realistic coverage plan.

How long is the conference dinner show?

Sean’s core stage experience is typically 30–45 minutes. Confirm the duration, setup and slot with Sean for your program.

Can the venue use the same setup as the conference speakers?

Share the stage layout, microphone and sound details with Sean and your production contact. Confirm which parts of the existing setup suit the performance and whether any changes are needed.

What if the final session overruns?

Identify who will make timing decisions and agree on a fallback with Sean and the venue. Include any fixed room, catering or production deadlines in the brief.
